Quick take · 30-second version

Can you tell us a little about yourself and your background?

My name is Kohki, and I'm currently 31 years old. In the past, I used to play tennis and water polo. While I used to enjoy traveling abroad, the recent impact of the covid has shifted my focus towards Okinawa. Lately, I've been exploring ways to earn money on my own. So far, I've been involved in creating and managing affiliate sites and even selling goods through live chat.

What inspired you to pursue a career in your field?

I have always had a genuine interest in understanding the psychology of people. I find joy in analyzing data, deriving hypotheses, and putting them into practice. These motivations have fueled my passion for pursuing a career in this field.

Can you share a proud moment or accomplishment in Spider AF so far?

One proud moment or accomplishment I can share from Spider AF so far is consistently achieving high rankings in ad-fraud related searches and being nominated searches. SEO has always been our forte, so it was a joy to be able to demonstrate our strength in this area.

What’s a fun fact about you that many people may not know?

A fun fact that many people may not know about me is my ability to achieve high rankings in ad-fraud related searches and being nominated for recognition. SEO has always been a strong suit of mine, and it brings me immense joy to showcase my expertise in this field.

How do you like to spend your weekends or time off?

On weekends or during my time off, I focus on activities that enhance my weekdays' productivity. This includes waking up early, reconnecting with old friends, and going to the gym.

How would you describe the culture at Spider AF?

Spider AF is a comfortable place for those wants to express themselves freely. This is a very rare environment in Japan.

Where is the best place you have visited?

One of the best places I have visited is Koh Samui in Thailand. I adore the laid-back atmosphere it offers. I enjoy leisurely mornings, lounging by the pool with a refreshing beer, and feeling the breeze against my face. In the evenings, I have an amazing time partying until the early hours of the morning at vibrant semi-outdoor clubs. The place is mostly filled with Westerners, and it's interesting to see everyone recovering from their hangovers and the town being quiet in the mornings.

What is the best career lesson you have learned so far?

The best career lesson I've learned so far is threefold. Firstly, quantity often leads to quality. Secondly, breaking down tasks and planning ahead is crucial. Lastly, taking action and trying things out is more effective than just daydreaming.

FAQ

People also ask.

Q 01 Are click farms illegal? +
In most jurisdictions, click farms violate ad-network terms of service and consumer-protection laws — but enforcement is patchy and cross-border. The FTC has taken action against fake-engagement operations, and Japan's METI has issued guidance treating fake reviews and bot traffic as deceptive practices. The practical reality: legal action is slow; technical blocking is fast.
Q 02 How is a click farm different from a botnet? +
Click farms typically use real humans (or human-supervised devices) to evade behavioral detection — they pass CAPTCHAs, mimic mouse movement, even simulate purchase journeys. Botnets are fully automated and easier to fingerprint. Modern fraud usually blends both: bots for volume, human "supervisors" for the high-value clicks.
Q 03 Can Google Ads or Meta detect click farms on their own? +
Both networks credit obviously-invalid clicks, but their detection runs on aggregated, post-hoc statistical signals — they refund days or weeks later. By then, your bidding algorithms have already optimized toward the polluted data. Independent, real-time detection at the click layer is what closes the loop.
Q 04 Will blocking click-farm traffic hurt my reach? +
No. Blocking invalid clicks only removes traffic that was never going to convert. The downstream effect is usually the opposite — your bidding model gets cleaner training signal and starts spending more on audiences that actually convert.
Q 05 How fast can Spider AF block click-farm traffic? +
Sub-200ms detection at the click event, with auto-sync to Google, Meta, TikTok, and Microsoft exclusion lists in seconds. Most accounts see meaningful blocking within 24 hours of installing the tag.
